WHERE WE ARE
Manston Fabrication is a family-run fabrication company based at Manston Business Park in Kent. With over 20 years of industry experience, we’re known for delivering high-quality sheet metal and structural steelwork with a focus on precision, reliability, and straightforward service.

We work with contractors, developers, and architects across Thanet, East Kent, London, and the wider South East. Our location allows us to respond quickly, manage deliveries efficiently, and build strong working relationships with our clients. All fabrication is carried out in-house at our fully equipped facility — from CAD design and planning to cutting, welding, and finishing. This gives us full control over quality and turnaround, ensuring every job meets the high standards we’re known for.

SUSTAINABILITY &
BREEAM STATEMENT
Environmental responsibility shapes every stage of our process — from design and fabrication to delivery and installation. Based in Kent and ideally placed near key transport routes to London and the South East, we align closely with BREEAM principles and help our clients meet their sustainability targets through thoughtful material use, efficient logistics, and low-impact construction practices.

Our workshop in Manston runs on energy-efficient systems, and our location allows us to reduce emissions by minimising unnecessary mileage.
​
We prioritise sourcing materials from within Kent and the wider UK, actively supporting BREEAM credits for regional procurement and lower environmental impact. This approach not only cuts carbon but strengthens the local supply chain.

We’re also working towards a full transition to low-carbon steel. By gradually shifting to steel produced via Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) — which have a much lower embodied carbon footprint than blast furnace methods — we’re laying the groundwork for greener builds. Our goal is to use 100% recycled EAF steel within five years and achieve net zero operational carbon by 2029.

Through strategic sourcing, collaboration with sustainable suppliers, and investment in smarter carbon tracking tools, Manston Fabrications is committed to building a future that’s as sustainable as it is strong.
